The little guy was in TD Garden already to watch a game, but unfortunately he fell asleep. We gotta work on that. One day he’s supposed to follow in my footsteps!Best,Daniel Hi guys,My Monsterblog returns, and the best thing is: From now on, there’s going to be a new entry each month! A lot has happened since the last Monsterblog. During the summer, I was able to re-sign in Boston, and I was excited to continue wearing the Celtics jersey. After a turbulent summer and some changes with the team, nobody really knew what to expect this season. There was too much pressure on the team these last two seasons. Ahead of this one, we weren’t mentioned as a contender, and I think that helped. We were able to find each other as a team und just play basketball. We have a good team, and our chemistry is awesome this year. We try to do a lot of things off the court as well, like grabbing dinner or watching a movie together. For Thanksgiving, Kemba [Walker] invited the whole team, staff and families to dinner in New York.It is a lot of fun to play with this team and to win. I’m also glad that I can do my part on a constant basis. I didn’t expect to be a starter, and it is just an awesome feeling. You get more comfortable when you know you have a certain role and that you’ll be able to show what you can do. I appreciate it, and I hope to continue to grow and that we’ll be able to compete for a title in the end.Especially in the win against the Lakers, we got to see what we’re able to do when we’re 100 percent focused and playing together. That game was very important for the city of Boston. The Christmas Game in Toronto was special as well. It is always an honor to play there, and after many years, we finally managed to get a win there. That was our own Christmas present.Aside from that, I can say that January was pretty stuffed with games. We played every other night, and that makes recovering between games even more important. If I’m being honest, I look forward to All-Star break, to regain energy and strength for the most important time of the year: the playoffs!I’m also looking forward to a couple of days with my little son who was born in late November last year. I missed his birth, because the little guy wasn’t willing to wait the 12 hours for me to get back from Denver. I have some catching up to do! I am very happy; he’s healthy and growing fast, and Laila is a great big sister. They’re a lot of work, but they give me the energy for each game.
