Daytime burglars hit Batesville, police look for tips

first_imgBatesville, In. — Batesville Police major Brad Wessel says detectives are investigating two more residential burglaries.Police say sometime between 7:30 a.m. and noon Friday, October 12 burglars hit a home in Farmington Estates in the 300 block of Abby Lane. On the same day, thieves hit another residence in the Hillendale area on White Oak Drive. Police say that crime occurred between 6:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. No one was home at the time of the burglaries.The residents reported cash, jewelry and miscellaneous items missing.Any information, no matter how small, can be left confidentially by calling 812-934-3131 and if you see a crime in progress call 911.last_img
