The Big Fish alum will take over the role of the iconic diva in the Broadway production on January 23 from Felicia Boswell, who stepped in when Tony nominee Valisia LeKae departed the show upon discovering she has ovarian cancer. Brown made her Broadway debut in Hair, and was most recently seen as Josephine Bloom in Big Fish. She also originated the role of Ornella Sturdevant in Leap of Faith. Her TV credits include Castle and Storyforia.
